Dennis re introduced Rose who showed a pic of the trailer donated to Green Connect through a District Grant. It was decided the extra money from the grant could go towards a spare tyre and a lock.
A discussion was held re advertising our club on the side/back of the trailer. Rose will take it up with (whoever does this sort of thing. Difficult to hear)
A Green Connect farm tour can be arranged if anyone wants to go. Let Rose know and she will send you the link.
Bulletin rosters confusing. ?why. Apparently, the rosters were entered manually and may have been mixed up. Rosters available on web site.
Annette mentioned some ideas for social events. All were welcomed so she will investigate further.
Comments were made re: the Peace Oration. All were very positive and while the speaker spoke longer than anticipated, it was so interesting that no-one minded. the slightly later than usual meal ordering really did not disrupt the Builders' Club staff unduly.
Raffle ..... won by Kate and Marilyn.
Seargent's session gave everyone a bit of a laugh with "Patrick" type jokes uttered by Dennis, who then wound up the meeting.
Kind Regards,
Anne Christensen.
