SERGEANT Barry called the meeting to order at precisely 6.15pm. He welcomed Dianna (Ann Christensen’s daughter) from the Rotary Club of Gladstone, to the meeting.

Handed the meeting over to President Rose.

PRESIDENT Rose reminded all members of our social event at the Steelers Club on April 30th for a streak dinner (or whatever else takes your fancy). So far we have 21 starters.

The REFLECTION was provided by John Erickson concentrating on the importance of friends.

Rita Gampieri spoke to the INTERNATIONAL TOAST praising the world efforts to provide housing including our Rotary Shelter Box program.

Milan thanked members who assisted at the Thursday’s Bunnings BBQ. Whilst there were several problems encountered the evening was a success. Bunnings Vouchers were handed over to the Club.
Milan kindly provided the helpers with a bottle of wine.

TREASURER Noel advised the takings for the Thursday’s ($205) and Friday’s ($299) Charles Hotel Raffles.

Michael Crowley brought the great news that our exchange student ( Katry Ridas from Brazil ) has given birth to a baby boy.

Ken Potter reminded members of the two RYDA  occasions to be held on May22/23 and August 12/13. Please diarise to assist Ken with the setting up and closing down of the event.

Dennis Simpson advised that there will be no Charles raffles on either Good Friday and ANZAC Day. Noel Watt conducted the raffle -winners Ann Christensen and John Erickson.

Sergeant ran the joke and fines session together with the next week's various rosters.

 Meeting closed at 7pm.
