Each year on 24 October, Rotary and Rotaract clubs around the world join with our partners, health organizations, and public health advocates to mark World Polio Day. You have a critical role in this by hosting events and activities to increase awareness about polio and raise funds toward eradicating it. To build on the success of last year, we need your help!
The Illawarra Train Ride will take place on 23 October 2025.
We will have morning tea in Kiama and lunch in Bomaderry. Buses alternate with trains from Bomaderry, hence the delay in coming back. Wear your End Polio Shirt and/or cap if you have them. You can purchase t-shirts and caps from Rotary Down Under (RDU) if you would like.
We will all be congregating in the second car from the front of the train.
NB: The return trip to Corrimal is via Thirroul.
