Club Administration Report

Special thanks need to be given from the start to my well-oiled team who allow me to present my ‘nothing to report’ report to each board meeting. The smooth running of the club is down to the dedication and skills of these team members.

The club evaluations that are done periodically help refine the needs of members.

The meal quality has been kept on top of and refined in conjunction with Centro and our members’ needs (and dislikes!)

Welfare – Anne Christensen:

Thank you, Anne, for keeping up with the well-being of members and their families when made aware, and the sending of flowers and appropriate cards in times of illness or death.

Thanks to Bob for keeping on top of all the Red Tape that is required.

The Annual Summary of Financial Affairs are lodged with Fair Trading

Insurance

We hold a Certificate of Currency confirming cover for the 2025-2026 financial year.

Register of Incorporated Assoc.

All required documents are up to date and held on the Register. These include our Certificate of Incorporation, Constitution, Bylaws.

Social

The decision to change the social outings from the 5th Wednesday of the month to the 1st Wednesday has been a great success. It has involved members, partners, and friends, to meet, enjoy and laugh, to visit different venues, and involves all members in the organising. The proof of this decision’s popularity is evidenced by the numbers attending each event. As the weather eventually gets warmer, and the days longer, we will be introducing a couple of overnight trips to fun, food, and wine locations. More on this soon.
