Membership & Public Relations Report
Membership
Although new members did not eventuate this past year, we had a few interested candidates who were sent welcome and information emails about our club. Some of those were from guest speakers and the recent citizenship ceremony.
Sadly, due to work commitments we lost losing Duncan Rutherford as a member. He was a dedicated Rotarian for many years. Also sadly, Kate Thomas has decided to join an E-Club to enable her to travel and follow Rotary and personal interests both locally and abroad.
Public Relations
Public relations and community promotion were successful on many fronts this year, generating valuable discussion about West Wollongong Rotary’s local and international work, as well as the social benefits and opportunities offered by our club and its members.
Some of the ways we interacted and promoted our club were:
