Neil Jones has a long affiliation with the Illawarra having been born here and obtaining a significant amount of his education in Wollongong. He has worked in the engineering field and gained considerable experience locally, interstate and overseas and, notwithstanding his extensive working life, he has many hobbies and interests. However, his presentation this evening will, amongst other issues, focus on his participation in a Rotary Group Study Exchange (GSE) team to Japan in 1981, for which Neil was sponsored by the Rotary Club of West Wollongong. 

For over a decade, the Recovery Camp program has delivered life-changing, transformative, therapeutic recreation-based camps. Each camp is an immersive experience where health students and people with lived experience of mental illness engage together in recovery-oriented, therapeutic recreation activities that promote mental health, social connection, and physical activity.
